ABOUT W&M A.S.A.P.

OUR VISION

We imagine a William & Mary family, on and off campus, that rejects sexual aggression and supports survivors.  Alumni for Sexual Aggression Prevention (ASAP) is a group of alumni dedicated to ensuring that The College fosters a healthy and violence-free environment for faculty, staff, and students.  We believe that this goal is in reach, but our role as alumni is crucial.

Our team strives to support the ongoing work of current students in their fight against sexual aggression on campus.  We hope that a wide network of invested alumni will enable a more educated and connected Tribe community.

OUR MISSION

Our role as alumni in the fight to end sexual aggression ought to be different from, but complementary to the work of current students.

We prioritize the following goals:

1. Supporting the work of on-campus activists and service providers by contributing time, resources, and financial support to their projects.

2. Working to build a community where students and alumni

exchange skills, knowledge, and social support.

.

3. Mobilizing a base of W&M alumni in response to events of concern to current students.

4. Keeping W&M's alumni base informed about the state of sexual aggression prevention on campus by circulating news and up-to-date information.

What violence prevention and

survivor support resources already exist at William & Mary?
